About
Emma Richter graduated from the Falmouth School of Art with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art Painting. She is also a qualified Thrive Practitioner and has worked in mental health education for over 26 years, supporting both young people and adults. Her experience has reinforced her belief that art can play a vital role in wellbeing, self-expression, and personal growth.
Emma’s work draws inspiration from music, colour, and the natural world. She explores rhythm, movement, and atmosphere through paint, aiming to capture a sense of energy and presence. Her practice reflects a balance between structured observation and intuitive mark-making, connecting her background in education and her ongoing interest in how creativity supports human connection and resilience.
